Saturday – 10:00am – 5:00pm
Sunday – 12:00pm – 5:00pm

Sunday’s schedule is the same but keep in mind we do not open until 12:00pm so the programs will not start until then.

Celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month – Honoring Ana Juan

Description: Explore the beautiful illustrations in the picture book “Frida”, illustrated by Spanish artist Ana Juan. Use your imagination to bring your dreams to life with watercolors.

Description: Contemporary artist Alicia Framis creates thought-provoking art. Explore her artwork and create some interesting art of your own as we continue to celebrate!

Celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month – A Tribute to Ileana Sánchez
Time: 10:30am and 2:45pm
Location: Solve It! – Level 3
Description: Join us in celebration of Puerto Rico by exploring the invention of Techno Braille and Techno Print that was invented by Ileana Sánchez. Investigate parts of the brain that are associated with speech and touch and make your own Techno Braille and Techno Print masterpieces.

Color My World – Special for Little Learners (5 years old and younger)!

Super Cold Science

Description: At 320 degrees below zero (Fahrenheit) fascinating things begin to happen! Explore the world of “super cold” temperatures in this chilling presentation.

Bank on It!

Description: Learn the value of earning, spending and saving money.

Take some Spring into Summer – The May Pole Dance
Time: 1:15pm
Location: Fantasy Festival – Level 1
Description: Participants gather in a circle, each holding a colored ribbon attached to a pole. Join us to explore and experience this 18th Century art ribbon dance form.

Go, Slow, Whoa!
Time: 1:45pm
Location: It’s Your Choice – Level 2
Description: Do you want to know which foods to eat in order of be healthy? Learn the differences between them in this fun and interactive game of food.

Don’t Be a Sleepy Head!
Time: 3:15pm
Location: It’s Your Choice – Level 2
Description: Have you ever wondered what is happening in your brain while you are sleeping? Find out the answer to this question and experience simulated effects of sleep deprivation in this engaging experience.

Ancient Images
Time: 3:45pm
Location: Solve It! Ancient City – Level 3
Description: Petroglyph, pictograph, geoglyph or hieroglyph – which is it? Join us as we compare and contrast these ancient forms of communication while exploring how scientist determine the meaning and date them. Also, work together to build your very own geoglyph.

Cody is Lost in the Desert

Location: Fantasy Festival – Level 1
Description: Cody the Coyote is lost in the Desert – come and see if and how he finds his way.
