The newest traveling exhibit, Run!Jump!Fly!: Adventures In Action™ proudly sponsored by Nevada Health Link, is now open at DISCOVERY Children’s Museum!
After months in the making, this interactive exhibit is getting kids moving with activities like surfing, snowboarding, Kung Fu, and climbing.
Visitors are invited to act out their own adventure scenes, each of which provides an imaginative setting to test out specific physical challenges like balance, strength, coordination and cardiovascular endurance.
Run!Jump!Fly! is already getting lots of attention in the media. FOX5’s Dylan Kendrick spent a few hours with us opening week, where he hosted multiple live shots on the morning news:
The grand opening of Run!Jump!Fly! also brought out some local dignitaries. Governor Steve Sisolak and State Senator Joyce Woodhouse were among those who joined us in unveiling the new exhibit in January.
Governor Sisolak presented DISCOVERY with a certificate honoring the Museum’s 30th anniversary and its continued dedication to the education, health, and well-being of Nevada’s children.
Run!Jump!Fly!: Adventures In Action™ was created by Minnesota Children’s Museum and brought here to us in Las Vegas thanks to our presenting sponsor, Nevada Health Link, who shares DISCOVERY’s goal of encouraging physical fitness.
“Nevada Health Link is thrilled to partner with DISCOVERY Children’s Museum and sponsor the upcoming Run!Jump!Fly! exhibit, where children can learn at a young age the importance of staying active and healthy,” said Janel Davis, Communications Officer at Nevada Health Link. “This partnership exemplifies Nevada Health Link’s commitment to promoting the well-being of all Nevadans through healthy lifestyle choices and ensuring access to qualified health plans.”
Nevada Health Link: Stay Covered Even When Life Happens
Nevadans who experience a Qualifying Life Event (QLE) can newly enroll in a health plan through Nevada Health Link even outside the open enrollment period (Nov. 1 – Dec. 15). Currently, enrolled members who experience life changes can make changes to their health insurance or choose a new plan. This is known as a Special Enrollment period (SEP).

Life changes include: Loss of health coverage (employer or Medicaid, or Medicare), change in household size like getting married, had a baby, or adopted a child, and gaining U.S. legal status all may allow you to enroll in coverage during a special enrollment period. In most cases you have up to 60 days from the life event to enroll in new coverage.
