Because our mission at DISCOVERY Children’s Museum is to foster a welcoming, vibrant, and inclusive environment where all are invited to engage in playful and educational experiences, we are proud to participate in the Museum’s for All program. Museum’s for All allows low-income and underserved individuals and families admission to the museum at a greatly reduced price.
What is Museums for All?
Museums for All is a cooperative initiative between the American Children’s Museums (ACM) and the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) to offer a signature access program that encourages low-income and under-served individuals and families to visit museums regularly and build lifelong museum habits.
How does Museums for All work?
Any individual or family that qualifies for state food assistance and is in possession of a WIC, SNAP, EBT card or foster care license will receive $3 per person admission to DISCOVERY Children’s Museum for up to 4 people* per visit.
Can I use my WIC, SNAP or EBT card as payment?
No. WIC, SNAP or EBT cards are used as identification, showing that you are eligible for the Museums for All admission rate. Payment must be in the form of cash or credit card.
Can I purchase a Museums for All admission rate online?
No. Because a WIC, SNAP, EBT card or foster care license is needed to receive the Museums for All admission rate, all transactions must occur at the DISCOVERY Children’s Museum front desk.
Is there a limit to the number of Museums for All visits I can make?
Any individual or family who presents a WIC, SNAP, EBT card or foster care license can visit DISCOVERY Children’s Museum as many times as they like and receive the Museums for All rate for up to 4 people*.
