Roll up your sleeves. The Subaru Car Care Center is officially open for business!
It was a packed house Tuesday for the grand unveiling of Eco City’s newest “business,” the Subaru Car Care Center. The exhibit offers a hands-on opportunity to learn about ways in which the automotive industry, particularly Subaru, is working to go more green. Kids can play customer, using the interactive kiosk to learn about different models’ eco-friendly features — or mechanic, working to earn a paycheck by popping the hood of the model Ascent replica’s tires, popping the hood, and checking the fluid levels.
“At Subaru, we know the greatest learning happens when students have the tools that inspire new ways of thinking and seeing the world, which is a core value statement of The Subaru Love Promise,” says General Manager, Burton Hughes. “And at Findlay’s Subaru of Las Vegas, we live to show that love to our community—upholding that promise with wonderful opportunities like supporting DISCOVERY Children’s Museum with our Subaru Car Care exhibit.”
And supporting DISCOVERY Children’s Museum they are! From November 2019 through January 2020, Subaru will be donating $250 per car sold to the museum as part of the company’s annual “Share the Love” campaign. Additionally, Las Vegas dealerships will contribute another $50 per car sold. For the last 11 years, the Share the Love initiative has raised more than $140 million for national charities and more than 1,170 hometown charities.
