Membership Guidelines

1. DISCOVERY Children’s Museum memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.
2. Memberships and its privileges cannot be used in conjunction with group visits, e.g., school fieldtrips, birthday parties, etc.
3. The museum issues announcements and membership information via email blasts. Members are encouraged to keep their email and postal addresses up-to-date by notifying the Membership Office of any changes in their contact information.
4. Adults who are at least 18 years of age can be cardholding members. Children under age 18 are considered guests of the cardholding member.
5. Children under age 13 must be in the company of an adult at all times while in the museum.
6. Effective February 1, 2026, DISCOVERY Children’s Museum will no longer offer Caregiver Passes for purchase. If you are a current Caregiver Pass holder, your pass will remain valid through the expiration date listed on your card. Caregiver pass must be present during the time of check-in.
7. Memberships admit the total number of guests specific to a membership level per day; cardholders are included in visitor count.
8. Members are not allowed to invite general admission visitors to join their group for free admission to the museum.
9. At least one (1) cardholder must be present and show valid government-issued photo identification when checking in at the front desk before entering the Museum.
10. Only the primary cardholder may make changes to a membership.
11. A secondary cardholder change may be made one (1) time per membership term. Once a secondary cardholder change has been made, no additional changes may be made until the membership is renewed for a new membership term. 
12. Members or guests of a member who conduct themselves in a manner deemed discourteous to other museum guests or staff will be asked to leave the museum property.
13. DISCOVERY Children’s Museum reserves the right to temporarily or permanently close, modify, or restrict access to any gallery or area of the Museum. Refunds will not be issued due to gallery closures or changes in gallery availability. 
14. DISCOVERY Children’s Museum reserves the right to revoke a membership for any violation of Membership Guidelines
15. DISCOVERY Children’s Museum reserves the right to update, change or add policies and procedures in accordance with health, safety and community guidelines as they arise.

Thank you for being a member of DISCOVERY Children’s Museum.  A day at the museum can change a child’s life forever! Toys can be tossed aside when the novelty wears off, but a museum membership provides access to a stimulating and fun-filled experience for 12 months.
