Volunteers are an essential part of DISCOVERY Children’s Museum playing a very important role in determining the quality of each visitor’s experience at the museum. Discovery Children’s Museum is always looking for energetic and enthusiastic people who are searching for a unique and fun work environment. Whether you are a high school student looking to complete community service hours for school credit or something impressive to add to your portfolio or an adult looking for a valuable way to spend some free time or something to do while the kids are at school, we welcome you!

We have opportunities available for both high school students (ages 14-17) and adults. The following is a brief description of each program:

YouthWorks is a program designed for high school students, ages 14-17 years old. This program affords teens with a chance to gain educational enrichment, learn new skills, start an employment portfolio and receive comprehensive help in applying for college and scholarships, while developing personal and professional growth experiences.
