Closed Mondays except during select holidays.

GENERAL ADMISSION

$12.00 for ages 1 to 99
Free: Members and children younger than one year old; adults 100+ years old
Children under 13 years of age must be accompanied by an adult; 18 years or older.
Adults are welcome without a child, however we just ask they leave their license/ID with Admissions during their visit.

Accepted forms of payment: Cash, Visa, American Express, Discover and MasterCard. Payment by check is permitted only for group or membership payment.

REFRESHMENTS IN THE MUSEUM
The Museum has a small Snack Area upon entrance and Sandstone Classroom (first floor) where drink and food vending machines are located. Food and drink are not allowed on the museum floor. We invite you to bring your own lunch and/or snacks and enjoy them in our Snack Areas or outside at Symphony Park.

FOOD TRUCKS
In answer to the requests for “food” at the Museum, we now are participating in the City of Las Vegas’ Mobile Food Vendors program A map showing participating food trucks and their schedules is available by visiting www.lasvegasnevada.gov/foodtruck.

DONATION REQUEST POLICY

DISCOVERY Children’s Museum is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that inspires children to ignite a love of lifelong learning! The museum supports other non-profit organizations in their fundraising efforts by donating passes through our Pass Donation Program.
Donation requests are filled through a juried process. If approved, your organization will receive four (4) free-admission passes, a $48.00 value.

Due to the high volume of requests, there is no guarantee that any given request will be fulfilled. The Museum is unable to provide information about the status of submissions. If the Museum is able to fulfill your request, we will mail four (4) complementary passes to the address provided.
To qualify:
Must be a local, non-profit organization
Organization’s mission must support the enrichment of the museum’s core audience, ages 0-12

To submit a request, please include the following:
Copy of the organization’s mission statement (not required for schools)
Date and brief description of the event on organization letterhead
Requests must be received by the Museum at least four (4) weeks in advance of the event.

FALL NONPROFIT ADMISSIONS PROGRAM

The museum will make additional complimentary passes or complimentary admission available to local nonprofit organizations in need during the slower, fall months.

Organizations can apply for this program by submitting the following information:
Name of Organization
Organization’s purpose/mission
Verification of Nonprofit Status
Organization’s need/quantity of passes requested

Staff will review each annual application for the program and grant passes/admission based on need and availability.
Application deadline is September 3, 2015.
