DISCOVERY CEO Joins Board for the Association of Children’s Museums

We are so proud to announce that Melissa Kaiser, our CEO, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Association of Children’s Museums as an At-Large Member.The Association of Children’s Museums (ACM) has been championing children’s museums across the world since 1962, supporting and advocating on their behalf. Its 460 members in 50 states and 19 countries all believe that all children are valued citizens with the right to developmentally appropriate and high-quality learning experiences — something Melissa has worked tirelessly to provide to children of Southern Nevada since she joined DISCOVERY as CEO in 2018.

In that time, Melissa has also grown DISCOVERY Children’s Museum’s total operating revenue by 18%, and spearheaded the creation of the Museum’s first Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Advisory Council in 2020. She has done so much for DISCOVERY and children in our community and we are so excited she will now have the opportunity to positively impact more children across the globe!
