DISCOVERY Children’s Museum Awarded Funding for Boosting Vaccine Confidence

DISCOVERY Children’s Museum is proud to receive a Communities for Immunity award in support of our work to promote vaccine confidence in Southern Nevada.

As trusted community partners, museums and libraries play a critical role in building vaccine confidence and fighting the pandemic. The $24,610 award will support pop-up vaccination clinics at DISCOVERY and vaccine information, which will be available in our Eco City hospital exhibit.

Communities for Immunity provides funding awards and support to museums and libraries engaging their communities to boost COVID-19 vaccine confidence. The initiative is made possible with support from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) and is led by the Association of Science and Technology Centers and the American Alliance of Museums.
